Abstract:   (7 Views)
In recent years, destruction of forests (development of agriculture in the understory of the forest, the increase of garden houses, vineyards and other cases) and the reduction of the forest cover of the Zagros region (especially the North Zagros) is worrying and it is necessary to identify the factors that drivers and affect the destruction of these forests and to find appropriate and efficient management solutions.  For this purpose, this study was conducted with the aim of investigating the change of land use (with an emphasis on forest) and developing a DPSIR analysis framework for Baneh forests in Kurdistan province. To carry out this research, the villages of Havareh Khul, Kivaleh and Sefid Kamareh in the east of Baneh county with an area of 1860 hectares was selected. The land use map of this research was prepared through field survey, analysis of Google Earth images and interpretation of appropriate aerial photographs (for two periods including 2011 and 2021). The state of eco-systems was defined and explained based on the land use map of 2021. Finally, a comprehensive framework was presented for the study area. The results showed that in 2011, 76.2% of the researched area was under forest and pasture land and 17.2% of the area was devoted to agriculture, and in 2021, these values reached 74.4 and 12.9%. is percent. Therefore, the utilization level of the forest has reached from 61.6% to 57.6% and the utilization level of garden house has reached from 4.9 (in 2011) to 10.4 (in 2021) and the changes made in the ecosystems of natural resources in The researched area has occurred. On the other hand, factors such as the low level of household income (poverty), the increase in the value of property and agricultural fields in recent years, and showing ownership of the forest are among the most important driving forces that intensify forest destruction in the research area. Based on the findings of the research, it was suggested to create diversity in sources of income such as the development of medicinal plants, bee breeding, ecotourism and nature tourism in order to eliminate the driving forces.
